THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT

VANCOUVER | 2025
CALLA LILY, NICKEL PINS

In The Future Is Bright, calla lilies are pinned along the wall in flowing, curvilinear forms, inviting viewers to move through the work as one might move through time. The installation reflects on the passage of time not as a straight line, but as a series of interweaving paths, each unfolding in its own rhythm. The lilies trace these paths with gentle arcs and varied directions, echoing the cycles of life and the multiplicity of experiences that shape us. By presenting the flowers in shifting orientations, the work encourages close observation from multiple perspectives, revealing beauty in every stage, every angle, and every choice. The piece is a meditation on the richness of possibility, a reminder to embrace the many directions life can take and to find wonder in each moment along the way.
