Endurance is a series of weavings created during a residency at Eden Textile Studios on Salt Spring Island in 2024. Using grasses foraged and repurposed from floral projects, she learned to weave on a floor loom, threading each blade of grass into structure. Materials she had always known as fragile and fleeting revealed new capacities through the discipline of weaving. The grasses were altered by the process, and so was she. What emerged were five works that hold tension, density, and stability while still carrying traces of their delicacy.
